Unexpectant Mother? Consider Adoption

You're young and unwed, or maybe you just can't afford to take care of another child. Did you know there's a long list of families DYING to adopt a baby? These are nice, in-tact families with the financial means to support a child but are unable to have one on their own.

Even as I have been researching for this blog, I am learning how much adoption has changed over the years. I got pregnant before I got married. Luckily, I was in a long-term relationship so we wound up getting married. Looking back, I hoped I would have given up my son for adoption since, at the time, I was still in college and had no steady work. In my mind, adoption seemed like a forever kind of thing where you have no further contact with your child, ever. Boy was I wrong! Most adoptions these days are either open or semi-open. That means there are varying degrees of contact between the birth mother and adopted child. There is nothing worse than coming to the realization that you might not be the best person to raise your child while staring you in the face is the fear that you won't get to see your child grow up. Now, those worries are gone!

Even more good news, I've found there is day-to-day help for expectant mothers' living expenses and I mean more than just food stamps and government housing. I found out about this agency in Arizona called Creating Christian Families and Mother Goose Adoptions that has a nice facility to house these moms during their last half of pregnancy. That's the time when your belly gets big, your ankles swell and sleeping can be difficult. They even offer free medical care. But the best part is that they offer a caring person you can talk to and lean on. Government agencies don't offer you that kind of service!

Read more of my adoption blogs and I'll answer more of your adoption questions.

Help Me!!

You're pregnant and it's not a good time. What are your choices? Where do you turn? How will you afford to live and what about medical bills?

There's a place you can turn to that will help you with all of your needs and more. Click on this link to see the beautiful facility that awaits you and your unborn child. They provide free rent, groceries, and medical visits. Discuss with a counselor all of your parenting options, including adoptions where YOU get to choose where your baby goes. YOU choose if you want to watch your baby grow up or if you want all ties cut.

If you are facing an unplanned pregnancy or find yourself in a “bad” situation while pregnant, you are going to have some tough decisions to make.  Every mother loves her baby and in an ideal world would love to parent the child herself.  However, many women find themselves in a position where that is not the best possible situation for their child. If this is you and you want to talk, give us a call.  Our case workers are all easy to talk to and won’t push you or judge you in any way. Creating Christian Families
